What Is Holding You Back? ARE YOU AWARE WE ARE ALL BORN WITH ARCHETYPES (Characteristics) that shape our life.
We are all born with 12 archetypes but each of us has the same 1st 4
these being
the prostitute (where we sell ourself short)
The victim (poor me)
the child
The saboteur (where we sabotage ourself at times)
We then have eight more archetypes that are individual to ourselves these will show out as patterns throughout our life.
Sometimes it is helpful to know what these are and where they are currently sitting in your astrological house as to how far you have got with learning your life lessons or maybe why you feel stuck at present and what is blocking you.
With each lesson we have three levels we go through:
Physical – where you are living the lesson
Individuation- inner journey/ subconscious
Symbolic- lesson finished- love based- real you
Lets look at an example of the CHILD Archetype:
We will look at negative aspects while working through this then positive aspects once the lessons are learnt.
Negative:
Has fears about being ignored and neglected by others.
Expects discipline and punishment.
Feels inadequate-doesn’t feel equal and is afraid of criticism.
Is dependent one minute and a blazing amazon the next (mercilessly lashes out).
Acts like a child or is childish with certain people (their age is irrelevant).
Is over sensitive toward authority figures- “don’t harm me mummy/daddy”.
Is at the mercy of fantasy- “if only”
Positive:
Is light-hearted and joyous in the knowledge thas/he is valuable, vulnerable & imperfect.
Is spontaneous, generous, accepting, candid- has no resistance.
Is capable of expressing genuine compassion & forgiveness without hesitation.
Is able to quickly forget the past & move forward- lives in the moment.
Feels safe & secure in relationships- willingly listens & allows others a voice.
Is willing to let people grow & mature individually.
Is able to bring out the best in everyone.
Matures thinking processes & welcomes opportunities to learn & grow,
