TOP FRUITS:
Although all fruits are good, some are particularly potent anti agers. Choose organic fruits where possible, as they are free from pesticides- and they taste better.
APPLES: Excellent detoxifiers with antiseptic qualities, which strengthen the immune system. Apples also contain pectin, which binds heavy metals such as lead mercury and carries them out of the body.
KIWI FRUIT: Containing Double the vitamin C of oranges, twice as much vitamin E as an avocado, and a rich store of potassium, kiwis are wonderful.
BERRIES: Blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants and black grapes contain phytochemicals known as flavonoids, potent antioxidants that protect against damage caused by free radicals.
LEMONS: Very effective at flushing toxins from the system.
DATES AND FIGS: Rich in calcium, iron and potassium, these are also good for digestion.
